Emerging Technology, Part 1

                                                                     Solar Microgrids

Nikhil Jaisinghani, Brian Shaad, co-founded a power company in India called  Mera Gao Power. They made this company to help provide electricity and lights to rural parts of India. This would help with the long travels it takes to the town so the villagers could charge their cell phones or do anything else they needed with electricity. So they decided to make a Microgrid to run electricity to these rural tribes. But not by any means they are getting a lot of electricity. Each household gets about 0.2 amps for 7 hours at night just enough to power 2 LED lights.

Back in 2009 Intelligent Software Assistant was the big emerging technology, now it is used in Cars for out loud navigation.
